The guys and gals over at Gatecon hold one of the best Stargate Conventions annually in Vancouver Canada the heartland of the Stargate Franchise, however this year the team have decided not to hold their annual event in 2009 due to the current financial problems around the world.

After careful consideration of the current financial markets, and a desire to spend time with our own families this summer, the owners of Gatecon would like to announce that GATECON 10 will be held back in Vancouver in the summer of 2010.
We hope this will give everyone time to save up and come join the family for another fabulous event.

Gatecon is primarily a charity driven even which has to date raised over a quarter of a million Canadian dollars for various good causes with primary donations going to the Make A Wish Foundation.
