The fifth season premiere of Stargate Atlantis ‘Search and Rescue’ added an additional 500,000 DVR viewers the following its official air date, it has been announced by the SCI Fi channel.
Initially Seach and Rescue earned a 1.3 average household rating with 1.8 million viewers, but the live + 7 day number jumped to 2.4 million viewers, with a episode rating of just above 1.7 according to the series executive producer Joseph Mallozzi in his personal blog.
