Master Replicas
Our first look at the brand new Stargate Atlantis Puddle Jumper model has finally arrived, courtesy of Master Replicas. We previewed this one last spring, and it’s exciting to see it finished and ready for pre-orders.
Measuring just short of 6 inches (15 cm) in length, the model was designed based on the original VFX files used for the television series — helping to maximize its screen accuracy. The paint job looks to be giving the ship a weathered look, suited to its being more than 10,000 years old. (As with the Death Glider and F-302 models, the front windscreen is not transparent.)
Pre-orders will begin Thursday, November 21, at MasterReplicas.com. Here’s your first look:

The Puddle Jumper was featured heavily as the hero ship throughout Stargate Atlantis‘s 5-year run, and in a few key episodes of SG-1‘s eighth season (including the season finale, “Moebius”). The show’s team uses Stargate-sized ships to explore the Pegasus Galaxy, where eons ago the Ancients seeded Stargates not only on the surface of populated worlds but also in space. The ships are highly maneuverable, and are equipped with drone weapons and cloaking technology.
The model will sell for $64.99 (£54.99 / €64.99), and is expected to ship in April. This model shows the Jumper’s drive pods in the open position; if demand is high enough the company tells GateWorld they hope to also make a Jumper with closed drive pods.
Meanwhile Master Replicas has begun shipping the Milky Way Stargate model, after a delay of about two months. Our gate is currently whisking its way to GateWorld, and we’ll have a review for you soon. The Atlantis Stargate has also gone through the pre-order phase and will ship next.
