We just wanted to keep you all up to date on the latest progress with the new community forums that we mentioned a few days ago.
We are really excited to get this release out of the door as soon as possible and fully working for all our of visitors, and we nearly ready there are just a few customizations left to be done to the visual appearance and it will be ready for launch.
Our new community forums will be based off the popular vBullettin forum software and will include such features as:
- Personal customisation
- Integrating blogging – this will replace our current blogging platform
- Ability to add new features over time via the plugins panel
- Reduced spam with tighter integration with Akismet the leading spam fighting software
We’re hoping to get this release out of the door and fully live within the next few days
