At Natpe 2008, MGM will be an official exhibitor and will host client meetings. In addition to various other shows, MGM is bringing an array of programming including the sci-fi series Stargate Atlantis to the convention.
MGM will also bring two programming packages to Natpe including “MGM Presents,” a syndication wheel, which features the shows Stargate SG-1 and Dead Like Me, 26 weeks each without repeats. The studio is also unveiling “MGM Shaken Not Stirred,” which will offer premieres of new MGM films.
MGM executive VP (broadcast strategy) John Bryan says, “We’re excited to be offering such a diverse slate of quality entertainment from hit comedies Reno 911 and Chappelle’s Show to innovative alternatives such as ‘MGM Presents’ and ‘MGM Shaken Not Stirred,’ our new movie package.
With the new season of Reno 911 off to a strong start on Comedy Central and Stargate Atlantis, premiering to a solid mid-season return on sci-fi, our broadcast partners will truly see the value in these proven properties.
