Viewer audiences are still strong in the United States of America despite the US presidential debate.
First contact earned a 1.1 average household rating during its premiere on the 26th September.
The second part of the mid season two parter ‘The Lost Tribe’ pulled in an impressive 1.5 rating on Friday 10th October in its all new timeslot of 9pm.
The Lost Tribe has so far been the highest viewed episode of Season five so far beating Search and Rescue, The Deadalus Variations, and The Queen who all earned a 1.3 rating.
All new episodes of season five conclude every Friday on the Sci Fi Channel in the United States of America at 9pm.
