Stargate Atlantis fans will remember David for the character or Dr Rodney McKay, the self absorbed big headed genius who helped keep Atlantis running.
But starting on Monday David Hewlett takes on an entirely different character as he assumes the role of an FBI Agent in the police crime drama ‘The Closer’. David has called the appearance in the show his best star experience ever as recently quoted in his personal twitter web blog.

Brenda and her squad are temporarily deputized into the FBI when a missing person case turns into a full-blown murder investigation involving drug trafficking at gay dance parties. The case gives Brenda and Fritz the chance to work together again, but her investigative tactics don’t exactly fit FBI protocol.
