Captain Alicia Vega, a.k.a. Leela Savasta, will be a recurring character in Season Five. She will be making her debut appearance in the season premiere ‘Search and Rescue’. According to executive producer Joseph Mollozzi she will be commanding her own Atlantis recon team by the fourth episode of the season ‘Whispers’.
