David Hewlett’s pet project for his next big role has been officially axed by the Sy Fy channel.
After two full years in development limbo, the Sy Fy channel has decided not to make the science fiction themed comedy series a hit show.
The Syfy channel picked up the airing and producing rights to the show back in 2007, intending to develop it as a half-hour comedy. Later, the network changed its decision with the hope Starcrossed would premiere as a Web series.
