Stargate Atlantis actress Jewel Staite is set to join her on screen actor Joe Flanigan by making a guest role appearance in Sy Fy’s Warehouse 13.
Staite announced the news via Twitter on Wednesday.
“Got offered a lovely role on Warehouse 13. Wish I could tell you more. All I can say is, you Browncoats are gonna freak,” she posted.
The network has yet to announce details about Staite’s upcoming episode.
The 27-year-old is best known for her roles as Kaylee Frye on Firefly and Dr Jennifer Keller on Stargate: Atlantis.

The Hollywood Reporter has recently mentioned Matt Dillion’s name as one of the actors the producers were pursuing for the remake of this iconic show, but in the past few days the Twitter ‘verse has been alive with fans voting in their thousands, campaigning for Joe Flanigan to become the new Jim from the Rockford Files.
Many will agree that Joe would be an excellent for the part, being able to pull off the humour, the leading man charm and all the action scenes. The producers of the show are taking note of this actors following and charm which would see him being the ideal candidate for the role.

Joe Flanigan is working on his latest movie project where he will appear in the film ‘Good Day For It’. Flanigan is to play the part of Deputy Brady.
Present little information is known about this film, however IMDB describes the film as
A man forced to abandon his wife and daughter years earlier must risk his life to settle an old score and reunite his family
Good Day For It is in production now with a scheduled release scheduled for sometime in 2010 / 2011.

With Joe have already performed the part of a sheriff in the Stargate Atlantis episode Vegas, it appears the highly talented actor is continuing his trend.
Currently Flanigan is set to be currently shooting a modern western w/ Hal Holbrooke, Robert Patrick, Samantha Mathis. He’s a Sheriff that is notoriously known for his methods of capturing the bad guys.
